It is recommended that you wear sturdy shoes or boots that can get wet. Bring sun screen and/or a hat, and be prepared for mosquitoes at most sites. You may also want to bring water and lunch or snacks on the trip.
Meet at the Pioneer Park parking lot off Hwy 66.
From Klamath Falls go through Keno on Route 66, and just before the bridge over the Klamath River, turn right into the parking lot of Pioneer Park, where there's a boat launch. From there we will carpool down Keno Access Road to Tunnel Creek Wetland (approx 10 miles).
What to Expect:
We will visit populations of special status plants and wetland endemics.
Moderate distances walking in upland and wetland habitat - please dress appropriately with boots and pants that may get wet.
