  • 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM
  • DOW 251 (Dow Center for Health Professions) on the OIT campus.
Johanna Blanchard, BLM botanist with the Klamath Falls Resource area will lead a talk on Limmanthes floccosa ssp. bellingeriana, or Bellinger's wooly meadowfoam.

This small annual herb is known from only a few populations in Southern Oregon and Northern California. Johanna will discuss the ecology of the species, including habitat, plant associations, and how to distinguish it from other co-occurring meadowfoam species.  Additionally, she will talk about the species decline, it's major threats, and the upcoming monitoring plan for the season.
