On Monday April 2 at 6:30 pm in the Klamath County Museum conference room, Professor Michael Hughes from Oregon Institute of Technology will give a presentation on native aquatic and riparian vegetation. The talk will introduce attendees to some common types of aquatic and riparian vegetation and discuss the ways in which such vegetation has been used in the planning, implementation, and monitoring of ecological restoration projects in the Klamath Basin. Emphasis will be placed on functional aspects of the vegetation, as well as its landscape context and habitat values.
The presentation is free and everyone is welcome to attend. A business meeting will follow the presentation. For more information, please contact the museum at 541-882-1000.
